WATER REPELLENTS

Application
Conpro Shield MX meets the most demanding standards for
a water repellent. With one hour cure @ 40° F a temperature
drop below freezing will not damage the material. Conpro Shield
MX can be used with confidence in most applications because it
has low odor and is water-based. Conpro Shield MX will not etch
clear glass. Apply using a low pressure or airless sprayer,
beginning at the bottom of the wall and working up generating a
4 - 6 inch rundown. Work to natural breaks in the structure (e.g.
control joints, corners, etc.). A single application is usually all that
is required. An additional application is possible either wet on wet
or after Conpro Shield MX has cured. Always apply a sample to
determine coverage and to insure there is not discoloration from
surface contaminants, excess moisture in the substrate,
or from previously applied water repellents.
