WATER REPELLENTS

Application
Conpro Shield W meets the most demanding standards for
a water repellent (ASTM E514). Low odor makes this product
suitable in most applications. Spray apply with a low pressure
or airless sprayer. Start at the bottom of the wall and work up,
generating a 4 - 6 inch rundown. Work to break points and
avoid over lapping. A single application is recommended.
Subsequent applications will not penetrate the substrate once
the first coat has cured (2 - 4 hours). Always apply a sample
area first to determine absorption rates and possible
discoloration. Discoloration can occur because of contaminants
on the surface drawn into the substrate, excess moisture in
the substrate and from previously applied water repellents.
The surface should be cleaned with high pressure water and
allowed to dry prior to the application of Conpro Shield W.
