Project History
The Executive Director of the Capital District Habitat for
Humanity asked New York State Concrete Masonry
Association to donate materials for a foundation.
The Project Engineer responsible for the site plan and
structural review proposed a thirteen-course 8-inch CMU
basement wall. The proposed wall would be backfilled
to almost a full 8-foot height and insulated with direct
applied, foil faced insulation with a R-value of almost 15.
Conproco offered to supply materials and labor to place
the below-grade waterproofing system. FC Membrane
is a single component flexible cement waterproofing
membrane that can be spray, trowel or brush applied.
